Frequently Asked Question's
Can you remove baked-on brake dust from my wheels?
Yes, using a strong alkali solution designed specifically for use on wheels. We do not use acid based cleaning products, which over time cause damage to lacquered surfaces, brake components and wheel nuts

Can you safely remove tar spots?
Yes, all traces of tar, tree sap and insects can be safely removed from paintwork, glass and vinyl trim

Can you get rid of stains from my upholstery?
Yes, using a shampoo extraction machine with anti-static, colour enhancing shampoo. This removes stains whilst giving carpets and upholstery a pleasant fragrance

How long will my upholstery be damp for?
This depends how soiled the upholstery is to begin with and how warm the weather is. If it is a mild day, the upholstery should be clean and dry by the time the valet is completed. However, on cold days it may remain damp for up to 2 hours, in this case, waterproof, disposable seat covers are supplied.
What if I have leather upholstery?
Leather is cleaned using a mild, non-caustic hide cleaner. Once dry we then apply a generous amount of leather supplement. This is important as cleaning leather can sometimes remove some of its natural oils, which over time causes dryness and cracking. The supplement we use is rich in natural hide oils and leaves leather feeling soft and smelling new.

Can you get rid of bad odours?
Yes, in most cases bad odours such as pet smells, smoke and food can be removed by having an interior valet, which involves deep cleaning all soft surfaces within the vehicle. However, in the rare event an interior valet doesn’t successfully remove all unwanted odours we can use our portable Aromatek system.
Aromatek is a permanent solution to in-vehicle odours. It emits dry vapour, which penetrates deep into any porous surfaces within the vehicle, killing odorous bacteria. Inaccessible areas such as the vehicle ventilation system can be re-odorised using this method.
Can you safely get rid of Chewing gum?
Yes, we can remove all traces of chewing gum, sweets, crayon, felt tip, biro and permanent ink from any surface.
Can you restore damaged paintwork?
We can correct the following paintwork defects:
Swirls, usually caused by drive-thru car washes
Light scratches/key damage
Oxidisation/fading, most common on flat (non-metallic) paint.

What if it’s raining?
It’s entirely up to you. If, for example the vehicle needs to be valeted because you have a meeting or wedding to attend the next day, we will do it in the rain – you will not be charged for any aspect of the valet which isn’t completed. However, if you are in no particular rush to have the vehicle valeted you may re-schedule for another day at no cost.
